This is a game invented by the surrealists to add an element of chance.

Create exquisite corpse characters with peers, then turn one you worked on into a final character in
full color in either illustrator or photoshop.Check out the work of Dave Devries The Monster Engine

for some great inspiration.Start by drawing a head and a neck. Fold a flap so that it hides the drawing

for the next person.Pass onto the next person, they draw shoulders, arms, and torso, fold a flap to
hide the drawing just leave the ends of the torso poking out and pass the paper to next person.

Next person draws hips legs and feet. Fold and pass onto next person.

Reveal!

Then choose one to scan to work into a final character and consider the background.

Print A3 with the Exquisite Corpse sketch (A4) on the left and the final colored character (A4)
on the right. Past this across a spread of the journal.
